Grand Central Square (Fall 2009)  
  Grand Central Square is a mixed use project consisting of the historic Grand Central Market; The Million Dollar Theatre, a 2,200 seat historic theatre; the 121 unit Grand Central Square Apartments; the 499 space Grand Central Square Parking Structure and the Lyon Building which houses two floors of office space.
  The Grand Central Market has been a part of the history and culture of the City of Los Angeles for over 90 years. Since 1917, Grand Central Market has reflected the immigration and cultural patterns of a changing Los Angeles. The Market not only offers something for almost every ethnicity, but also provides a place where people of all cultures feel comfortable. It's an American market with an eye on the international needs of its shopper. The Market offers a variety of products and services seldom, if ever, found under one roof.
The Grand Central Market is Los Angeles' oldest and largest open-air market. It consists of 39 different stalls including American, Italian, and Latin delicatessens as well as 11 restaurants. Merchants at the Market offer the finest selections of delicacies and unique specialty items on a daily basis. Fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry and fish from California and around the world are also available. You will even be able to find a watch repair shop in case you need one! 
The Grand Central Square is located at 317 S. Broadway. They are open seven days a week from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00P.M.  In conjunction with the Department of Transportation, you are offered one hour free parking with a minimum $10 purchase.  The entrance to the parking structure is located at 308 S. Hill Street. 
Located in the ground floor of the Homer Laughlin Building in the heart of downtown Los Angeles' Historic District, Grand Central is within walking distance of the financial district, government offices, and such major attractions as Angels Flight, MOCA, Disney Hall and the Music Center. It's proximity to the Metro Station, major bus lines, Union Station and major freeways make it easily accessible from virtually any part of Southern California.
Adele Yellin, President, Anne Peaks, Vice President and Filomena Eriman, General Manager, collectively run the day to day operations of The Grand Central Square.
